TADs

Temporary anchorage devices (TADs) are small metal implants placed in the bone to help the orthodontists move teeth effectively. The TADs are placed as an anchor in the bone and reduce the need to use extra-oral devices for anchorage. These implants are small and temporary, and can easily be removed after finishing orthodontic treatment.
